Happy Upcoming New Year!
I'm looking forward to 2011. For me, 2010 has been a transitional year and yes, being transitional is a "very good thing".
I have blogged about my life's changes since 10/2009 and I am happy to say that I'm starting to feel like myself, agian. So much so, that I got my "creative mojo" back.
My "creative mojo" is a compilation of my knitting, my love of bringing a certain style to everything that I do and touch, my experimentation with jewelry design, my rediscovered love of cooking and just plain realizing that I don't have to be confined to the box, actions and ways of thinking, more commonly known as "good old reliable Bren". I can branch out and be anything I want to be and do anything that I want to do. If I fail, oh well, at least I tried.
So, with that being said, I am thrilled to announce that my creative mojo is now the artist in residence at Blu Onyx Expressions (www.bluonyxexpressions.etsy.com). I'm still crawling, because setting up an internet store is not as easy as eveyone says, but boy, oh boy, is it interesting, and talk about doing things "out of one's box". (For those of you who kow me and my relationship with computers, I expect to hear hearty laughter)
For my friends and loved ones, please excuse what may seem like a barrage of facebook and internet posts. I'm feeling my way around and I will get it right soon.
